Once Again, "Organic" Doesn't Always Mean…Anything

The folks at Animal Equality has taken it upon themselves to do an investigation on several farms claiming to
Sell their products as having high welfare standards.
This means farms that sell animal products stamped with “organic,” “free-range,” “cage-free,” “grass-fed,” etc. While many of us purchase some of these foods with enthusiasm (I myself eat eggs, so these terms are often found on the packaging of the eggs in my fridge), Animal Equality has produced a series of observations that indicate that (as I’ve detailed in the past), in the case of the farms investigated, these terms are just another marketing faux pas that allow farmers to drive up prices at the expense of the animals.
