Toronto's Veg Fest is Coming: 5 Reasons Why I Want to Go!
Is there any better place to be, than at a veg fest? Personally, if I could go to one every weekend that’s where I’d be! Why am I so passionately day-dreamy about veg fests? I’ll give you 5 good reasons.
-
THE FOOD… The. Free. Food.
-
The exposure to new veg products. It was at a veg fest that I first fell in love with Bee Free Honee.
-
The lectures and demonstrations. The last time we were at a veg fest, we had the opportunity to watch Miyoko Schinner, from Miyoko’s Kitchen, demonstrate how to make some of her amazing vegan cheese.
-
The free stuff! By the time you’re ready to go, you’ll have a bag full of free samples, pens, coupons, and magnets. I love free stuff!!
-
The networking. You’re guaranteed to meet fascinating new people who share your veg-happy lifestyle.
If you’ve never been to a veg-fest, I highly encourage you to go to one and fall in love. They’re amazing! In fact, if you are in the Toronto area you are in luck! Because they have an awesome veg fest scheduled this weekend, Sept 11th-13th. It should be fun, their website promises:
“ We stock a marketplace full of vendors who will change what you think is possible for vegan food. It’s a weekend full of cooking demonstrations, free samples, new products, and cookbook launches. Oh, and eating. You seriously won’t believe how much eating there is… “
Oh how I envy those of you who get to go! It sounds like heaven! Why not grab an omnivore friend and show them how awesome veg food can be? It’s a FREE event and who can say no to free food?! And if they’re worried about trying to be converted, just share with them this message from the event:
“And if you’re a carnivore, don’t worry – we won’t try to recruit you. The food might, though…”
If you’re thinking about going, you can find more information about the event on the Toronto Veg Fest website.
