Vegan Food Truck Ranked #1, Beating Out 120 Omnivore Food Trucks!
No Bones About It, a vegan food truck company, has been ranked #1 out of 122 food trucks in the Washington area on King5’s ‘Best Food Truck of 2015‘ contest! To be very clear, this is a vegan food truck beating out 120 other meat-or-dairy-heavy, carnivorous food trucks. There is 1 other vegan truck on the list: The Cookie Counter (ice cream sandwiches).
The vegan truck is based out of Ballard, but travels all across Seattle, offering their delicious plant-based items, focusing on local and organic foods, with both gluten-free and soy-free options! They deliver as well and offer catering options.
Just some of the delicious foods one can buy from this vegan meals-on-wheels, are their beer battered avocado tacos, coconut buffalo seitan wraps, crispy cauliflower wings, nachos and many delicious salads and sides!
What makes this business even cooler is their decision to contribute a percentage of their sales every month to different animal welfare organizations across Seattle. You can see their schedule of future groups they plan to support, as well as how much they have raised for past ones, and can offer your own local suggestions too! From their website:
“No Bones About It on a mission to help promote the welfare of all animals, and fight against animal cruelty and factory farming. Seattle’s local rescues and shelters are some of the very best in the world. We proudly donate 2% of our sales to these non-profit groups, chosen on a monthly basis.”
The polls for this contest are open until October 23, so make sure to cast in your vote and keep No Bones About It at #1! Also make sure to add your review and food photos on their business listing page here on Clearly Veg. You can also help other veg*ns find and choose where to eat (anywhere in the world) by making sure your favorite local veg spots are represented accurately, and that you’ve added your reviews in the directory.
Some of the Clearly Veg team live in the Seattle area and make sure to pay a visit to No Bones About It weekly. The rest of us are busy making plans to visit Seattle and try it for ourselves!
