No Bones Beach Club: Seattle's #1 Food Truck Becomes First Vegan Tiki Bar!
No Bones About It was an incredible vegan food truck that was chosen to be #1 by the Seattle Weekly in 2015, and made it to be the runner-up out of 120 omnivore food trucks for Kings5 in 2015.
The truck was based out of Ballard and traveled all over Seattle, with an all-vegan menu that focused on local and organic foods, and included gluten and soy-free options. They were known for their signature beer battered avocado tacos, coconut buffalo seitan wraps, crispy cauliflower wings, and much more. So what could make No Bones About It any better? Transforming into the first vegan tiki bar in the world, the No Bones Beach Club!
A space opened up on 5410 17th Ave NW in Ballard, and the restaurant was officially opened this month, which owner MacKenzie DeVito states was a plan for the business for years. Fans of No Bones About It need not worry, because the new menu will offer most of what customers knew and loved with the food truck, only now in addition to the “coastal-inspired” menu, it will include cocktails made from local spirits, as well as local beers and wine.
And it’s not just the menu that will be kept the same. The No Bones Beach Club will continue to donate a percentage of their proceeds to a local animal rescue organization every month!
While it has yet to be decided if the food truck will continue alongside of the restaurant, to check out the incredible menu, see the list of drinks, or to learn more about this new hotspot in Seattle, make sure to visit the official No Bones Beach Club website!
