"Paradise Beneath Our Feet": Pamela Anderson Poses Nude for New Vegan Shoe Line
If you thought the shoot for Pamela Anderson’s cruelty-free vegan boot line, Pammies, was racy, wait until you see the full photo set for her latest footwear line, created with French designer Amélie Pichard.
Anderson recently promoted the 90’s inspired shoes in Paper Magazine, and to say that she only sported her shoes and a brown wig is definitely not an exaggeration! In the nude photo shoot, the actress and animal rights activist displays the shoe collection, which is made entirely from vegan materials. It officially went on sale this winter and includes ruby heels, open-toed pumps with clear heels, slingbacks, and more. All shoes have glitter on their soles, which was Anderson’s signature touch, as she stated:
“When I come home after a night out with friends, the bottoms of my shoes are always covered in glitter — like the rest of me.”
Anderson describes the line as “chic and sexy” and “very wearable” in terms of the heel. As is the case with Pammies, a portion of every shoe purchased will go towards the Pamela Anderson Foundation, which “supports organizations and individuals on the front lines in the protection of human, animal, and environmental rights.” When asked what inspired this line, the former Baywatch star stated:
“Vegan compassion is sexy. And I miss the fun! I wanted to contribute to fashion and beauty to offer cruelty-free fun choices. I have my compassionate lifestyle brand, Pammieslife.com, that I keep adding to, and this vegan shoe line made in France with Amélie Pichard.”
To everyone who may be shocked or surprised to see the photo shoot for this cruelty-free shoe line, it was intended to encompass everything Anderson stands for as a person, as Pichard herself stated:
“Our idea is to make sustainable fashion sexy by playing on the duality of Pamela Anderson, who on one hand is a sex icon, and on the other hand, is a mother and nature lover.”
