Rapper Waka Flocka Flame May Launch His Own Vegan Cooking Show! [VIDEO]

Recently an episode of Munchies by VICE featured rapper Waka Flocka Flame and singer/songwriter Raury, making homemade vegan blueberry muffins VICE described as:
“Sweet, tart, berry-filled treats that are so good you won’t miss the butter. We promise.”
In the video, the vegan duo used coconut milk and oil, lemon juice and zest, baking powder and soda, black salt, sugar, vanilla extract and blueberries to show what both artists opt for when craving something sweet. Raury also dropped some knowledge for viewers, such as lemon juice being able to curdle coconut milk, which is why both make a great substitute in vegan baking.
In the short video, animal rights activist Flocka spoke more about his experience as a vegan and the reactions he gets, including being labeled as the “first vegan rapper”. He stated:
“Somebody thought I was fighting cancer or something. Nah, I just didn’t wanna be fat. I got tired of breathing hard. I got tired of my joints hurting. I just got tired of being lied to. When I eat I got energy. When they eat they be sleeping. So it’s a big difference”
Of course the duo also get asked about protein, and both quickly dispelled myths that a vegan diet lacks in that department as there is “kale, black rice, black lentils, avocado, all types of beans”. The video closed with friends coming to try the muffins, describing them as “amazing”.
After such a positive reaction to the video, Waka recently posted a tweet making many of his fans and fellow vegans very excited:
No details have been announced yet, but a show featuring Waka baking and cooking vegan treats is bound to be a success, and a fan responded calling him the “smartest businessman/rap artist in the world!”
