Vegan Deli Set to Open in Miami Next Year!
Miami’s Little River District will soon be home to a vegan meat and cheese deli, called Atlas Meat-Free Deli. Set to open early on in 2017, owner Ryan Bauhaus initially began by selling his handcrafted items in Hollywood’s Yellow Green Farmer’s Market, and has been expanding ever since. According to Latest Vegan News:
“The shop will sell all the usual delicatessen fare — sliced meats and cheeses by the pound, fresh sausages, burgers (on pretzel buns, no less!), piled-high pastrami on ryes, rib tips, meatball subs, salads, et al. It’ll also host brunches, BBQs live music, and other events. All of the deliciousness, none of the cruelty.”
Bauhaus stated he wants Atlas Meat-Free Deli to create an environment that is “inclusive for anyone looking for good food, regardless of diet.” While the deli will have a focus on carry-out and prepared foods-similar to traditional delis, according to Bauhaus it will also have the “ability to produce our products for wholesale distribution.”
With the rise of vegan butcher shops and delis, it’s great to see another option set to open in Miami, Florida!
