Hard Rock Cafe Will Debut Vegetarian Menu for October!
Starting on October 3, the Hard Rock Cafe will debut a meat-free menu for 42 of its North American locations in honor of World Vegetarian Awareness Month. VegNews reports the move is in response to consumer demand, which has become more cruelty-free over the years. This will be the first time a vegetarian menu has reached this particular part of the world, after the chain has offered meat-free fare to its Dubai and London visitors.
Some of the veg offerings will include a Fennel, Orange, and Beet Salad, Pico de Quinoa Arugula Salad (ask for no feta), and a Ratatouille Wrap (ask for no aioli). There will also be a “Wascally Wabbit” mocktail made with carrot, apple, and orange juice. Senior Director of Marketing for Hard Rock International Alex Merchan stated:
“Today, consumers are more demanding than ever. They want variety and shareable, immersive dining experiences, and we’ve seen more and more of our U.S. based-guests looking for meatless options while dining out.”
Ask, and you shall receive!
