Kylie Jenner Releases Vegan Lipstick For Charity
Kylie Jenner has just released a duo of matte lipstick and lipliner that will support the children’s charity Smile Train. Not only do proceeds help children in need, but the ingredients for the pale pink lipstick are all vegan and not tested on animals.
Smile Train is an international charity that provides free cleft palate repair surgeries to children in over 85 different countries. Jenner said, about the partnership:
“As the ambassador for Smile Train, I am excited to have the opportunity to donate 100 percent of the net proceeds from my newest Lip Kit ‘Smile’ to this amazing organization. It is incredible to know that in doing so I am helping give thousands of cleft children around the world new smiles.”
The “Smile Lip Kit” is currently sold out on her website – a testament to her popularity. It was just this year Jenner released her makeup line, with 18 of her Lip Kits being completely vegan (the only non-vegan shade is “Candy K”). By trending celebs endorsing cruelty-free products, they can make a real difference in the lives of animals, as well as the humans they help with their charity support.
