New Line of Vegan Flax Milk Yogurt Launched!
Just when you thought you could list all of the plant-based products that are used in dairy-free alternatives, Good Karma Foods has released a new yogurt line that is made with flax milk! The company uses cold-pressed flax milk as the base for all of their products (now totaling three), with FoodBev Media stating:
“The new yogurt pots each feature 5-6g of plant-based protein, 800mg of omega-3 healthy fats and seven live and active cultures. Described as ‘rich and spoonable,’ they are also free from all major allergens including dairy, soy, and nuts – and will join the brand’s existing ranges of probiotic drinking yogurts and flax milk.”
The 6oz yogurts will be priced between $1.69 and $1.99, and will be available this month at select Kroger locations, with a nationwide expansion planned for 2017. The flavors include vanilla, blueberry, strawberry and raspberry, and Doug Radi, CEO of Good Karma Foods, stated:
“Good Karma Foods isn’t just our name, it’s the inspiration for everything we do. Our hope is that, by expanding our offerings to include plant-based yogurts that deliver a mighty nutritional bundle and a surprisingly good taste and texture, we’ll inspire goodness families can’t help but pass along.”
