Chef Eddie Garza Releases New Vegan Mexican Cookbook!
Vegan chef Eddie Garza has released his latest cookbook, ¡Salud! Vegan Mexican Cookbook, which helps you “recreate your favorite Mexican foods entirely vegan!” According to Compassion Over Killing, ¡Salud! by Garza, who is a “speaker, food coach, Latino Health thought leader and Senior Manager of Food & Nutrition for the Humane Society of the United States,” includes:
“All kinds of creative, cruelty-free concoctions from Eddie’s kitchen, ranging from Spicy Eggplant Barbacoa Tacos and Jackfruit Guisado Tortas to Classic Chile Relleno and Black Bean and Guacamole Sopes.”
The cookbook, described as being appropriate for “all-levels – from novice to pro,” includes 150 recipes, of which more than half can be prepared in under 30 minutes. When asked for a sneak peek into some of the dishes that readers can expect from the cookbook, Garza delivered:
