Impossible Burger Available at Bareburger!
For everyone who is waiting to get their hands on Impossible Foods’ legendary Impossible Burger, there is some exciting news. While the burger is available at Momofuku Nishi in New York City (check out our review here) and other select restaurants, it has just today been added to the menu of Bareburger, an organic burger chain based in New York, with 43 locations in five countries. The announcement was shared yesterday on their Facebook page:
“Starting tomorrow our LaGuardia PI Bareburger will be servin’ up the @impossible_foods burger; the plant-based burger that packs all the delicious beefiness into one super-sustainable patty and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on it!”
According to Fortune, “the meat-like alternative will start rolling out to other Bareburger locations as Impossible Foods ramps up production.” Just like Momofuku chef David Chang–who stated he “tasted the future and it was vegan” after sampling the burger–Euripides Pelekanos, Bareburger CEO and co-founder, was equally impressed after he tried it, stating:
“When they cooked it and cut it open and bled like a medium-rare burger, I was 100 percent convinced that it would replace the way we look at beef and consume food.”
Bareburger can be found across the United States, as well as in Canada, Germany, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates, and as Fortune notes, with this move “Impossible Foods is making its coveted burger a little bit less impossible to find.”
