Pamela Anderson Opening Vegan Restaurant in France
UPDATE: Pamela Anderson has confirmed on her website that after just nine days of being open, “due to circumstances out of [her] control,” she has to “remove [her] name from the collaboration with Christophe Leroy.” She added that while she is “extremely disappointed” in the “missed opportunity” of La Table du Marché, she “cannot condone the mistreatment of staff -or complete lack of respect.”
She promises to “keep finding creative ways to help animals and vulnerable people all over the world.”
Pamela Anderson has teamed up with chef Christophe Leroy to open a temporary vegan restaurant in “the enchanting setting of Moulins de Ramatuelle” in Saint-Tropez, France, on July 4.
The restaurant, titled La Table du Marché, is described as an “unprecedented concept” on Anderson’s website with the concept being “festive, glamorous and Vegan.” The website adds:
“Pamela Anderson ‘a dream come true’ Christophe Leroy, organizer of the famous Nuit Blanche, opened the doors of the Moulins de Ramatuelle to imagine this new address with a magical decoration which, between Champagne bar and 100% Vegan menu, will offer for 50 days to lovers of the Côte d’Azur a gourmet, chic and romantic alternative.”
For 50 days from July 4, La Table du Marché will be open from 6pm, and promises visitors a “sensual atmosphere.”
