Starbucks Adds Vegan Protein Bowl to Menu
Starbucks has been steadily adding vegan options to its menu for a while now–from non-dairy milk options and drinks, to sandwiches, salads and spreads. Recently, the chain announced a new addition: a Vegan Lentils & Vegetables Protein Bowl with Brown Rice.
According to the website, the new bowl is:
“Made with butternut squash, roasted tomatoes, and sunflower seeds, and served with lemon – tahini dressing. With 23 grams of protein, this new bowl is also an excellent source of protein, and has more than one cup of fruits and vegetables, and is certified vegan.”
The option will be “available year-round at select company-operated Starbucks stores in the U.S., and select licensed store locations in the US,” for $7.45 – $8.45.
The announcement adds that there are also some new coconut milk-based cold beverages available at the chain.
