Restaurant Review: Eb & Bean in Portland, Oregon
Eb & Bean is no ordinary yogurt shop. There’s no artificially-flavored yogurts with cheap toppings full of fake sugar. Eb & Bean only serves flavors that are handmade, organic, probiotic-rich, and free of preservatives, corn syrup, and GMOs — the way yogurt should be.
Non-dairy flavors rotate every four weeks. Every cycle of new flavors is decided and inspired by the seasonal ingredients grown in the Portland area. Once you’ve chosen your flavor, you can choose to add on a variety of toppings, many of which are vegan or gluten-free. (Eb & Bean also carries dairy flavors, which is why not all of their toppings are vegan.)
In total, there are 14 vegan toppings and four vegan sauces! That’s incredible! And none of them taste like a second-best replacement for those with dietary restrictions.
Eb & Bean is located on the same street as one of the Salt & Straw locations. If you are a fan of Salt & Straw’s versatility and natural flavors, you will also love Eb & Bean.
